The Aeth Mystery: Now Available!

This is a nice little Rosicrucian work released a century ago by the Fraternity of the Rosy Cross- Clymers' order. As a slight aside the order still exists in Pennsylvania and their mailing address, though not the same as that given in this work, is on Clymer Road- just an interesting aside, since most orders do not last nearly a century.

The content here is somewhat vague because it is in part advertising initiation into the order and the availability of more advanced works- more generally it discusses a few basic bits of Rosicrucian philosophy- however it should be noted that the original cover insinuates that the mystery of sex is discussed while it does not actually contain any apparent literal allusion to the subject (potentially a bit of advertising to the male audience!)

Football Occultism: Now Available!

Some time ago (a couple of years!) I decided that if synchronicity could be said to exist, and the occult in part hinged on this as a central principle, evidence of it should be seen in even fairly mundane endeavors. A tome could be written on superstition as it relates to football fans especially (not washing ones' socks during a winning streak comes to mind?) but I wanted to go a bit further, specifically into two subtopics I have not seen written about before.

First- what is the symbolism, totemic and occult in nature, of each NFL team? Where in literature or elsewhere can their mascots, names, etc be found?

Second- is there a correlation, seemingly, between the superbowl winner in a given year and the years' events?

I remark on both of these within this work- over time (some decades) more data points for the latter will be available and we have to acknowledge that teams occasionally change symbolism or location as well, which is of import.

General Update: Future Works, Football Occultism, Etc

It's the last day of July and that means a quick update.

I have completed "Football Occultism" and intend to release it soon. This will be one of two works I am currently actually working on after shelving a half dozen editing projects due to Createspace' new apparent set of rules. The other work? The Lesser Keys, which require the editing and illustrating of the Theurgia Goetia.

It will be two days, I believe, before "Football Occultism" is available; I need to do its cover art then up the files. After that is done, and the full Lesser Keys are compiled and released, I intend to primarily focus on my own works for the rest of the year and possibly the rest of my life since editing has become hazardous even to very careful, skillful, professional editors if they use any third party service. Any future edited works will have proof of status compiled and archived well before release and I will host my own proof by mirroring applicable sites perpetually. This unfortunate necessity shouldn't be necessary but is.

Before Halloween I have a half dozen Occult videos to make also! Spooky!

General Update Time: The End of 2016 Is Nigh!

2016 has been a strange year; political and social upheaval everywhere, even weird weather, and more synchronicity than can remotely be fathomed by even those of us who have studied the occult for some length of time. For me, it has been a massive success; everything I am doing is far, far ahead of where I anticipated it being even under the most optimistic scenarios.

Before 2016 keels over and gives birth to what I imagine will be a nearly-as-strange 2017 (I envision it will be a lot like 1980, stay tuned) there is one final stretch of work to be accomplished, and it is nearly done now.

I have mentioned before that I will be creating a new category of literary work here for titles related to herbalism, homeopathy, and quack medicine; "Magic Plants", "The Witches Pharmacopoeia", and "Gunpowder as a War Remedy" are already done, meaning one more work is necessary to make it a proper category of its own; I am, at the moment, half done with the roughly 125 page "Primitive Physick" which seems to be massively overpriced on Amazon by those selling editions of the same. If time allows, I will also be releasing, as stated before, the South Sea Herbal, but I wanted a longer and more substantial work (The latter is only about 30 pages) to go into the category with the shorter manuscripts. It's still within the realm of possibility that I have time to release "Weeds as Medicine" but I do not anticipate that until early January.

In 2017 I plan to branch out into several other categories of work also, and finally release Morbid Stories II, Sickness in Hell II, and other works.

Upcoming Materials, and Blog Announcement

In the near future, Basil Valentines' "Twelve Keys" will be available- this alchemical work of note is quite good, and in keeping with the original edition I have omitted the attractive but largely superfluous illustrations present in latter printings. Add to this Philalethes' work, which is available here and things are moving along quite smoothly. I haven't forgotten about Sickness In Hell either- I guarantee I will begin the process of stringing together prior material in the near future.

In blog related news, it's update time; and by update I mean that I set up the basic format, color, font, and design of this blog in a single afternoon long ago. I've already replaced the primitive header text with a banner and added two new links which you may have noticed at the left hand side of the page; respectively, to my occult informational series on Youtube (covering everything from cryptids and UFOs to philosophy and sex magick) and my occult literature series in which I briefly summarize and explain the content of the literary works I am releasing here on this selfsame blog. My Youtube audience is far, far larger than my dedicated literary following right now and it makes sense to blend my two main online presences together to expand the reach of all my workings.
